Listen, I am an Obama supporter, but stop the crap about Hillary crying |
|
If you want to argue issues, then do it, but showing emotion, and implying that it is due to some political motive is bullshit
No one knows how anyone else feels
I saw one of the players in the Super Bowl cry after the game
Demonizing the other candidates because they show emotion is not only insensitive, but will work against us

We are going to have to come together after this is over |

I too have gotten caught up in this circus. We are not the problem, the republicans are the problem, and why we are in the situation we are in today
Good Luck to your candidate, and if Hillary wins, you can count on my support

3. i am a woman. I refuse to be silent about her obvious deception and disgusting phoniness |
|
other people can fall for her calculation but i know shes a truly disingenuous person. why should we have to keep silent because her supporters arent even rational enough to see a pattern in her behavior?
did she cry when she voted for the iraq war? I know i did.

Edit - just in case there was some confusion. My comments were directed at the poster bushisachimp
Total nonsensical "I know" from someone who doesn't know a thing any better than the rest of us.

25. What does being a woman have to do with an appalling inability to ... |
|
recognize a trait common to all human beings. Specifically being the absolute inability to know what someone else is thinking or feeling with a high degree of certainty.
You'd be more honest with yourself and everyone else if you said you suspect she is being deception or you feel she is being deceptive. Stating your personal beliefs as fact is disingenuous and serves to make you look silly.

14. If there is a strategy |
|
It's either the media's or worse it's the Obama campaign's.
A woman tears up at an emotional reunion with an aging mentor --and this is news?
Keep pushing it --it'll backfire the same way it backfired last time.

9. And using emotion to force a desired outcome is tactless |
|
and demeaning to strong women who DON'T cry on cue.
She didn't cry AFTER she lost Iowa she cried when she needed to win New Hampshire. She didn't cry after she lost South Carolina she's crying NOW that she needs to win on Super Tuesday.
Sorry, I'm not buying her tears. And I won't be silent about it.

11. But don't you think the timing is weird? |
|
I mean I don't remember hearing this stuff happen prior to this year, and now it happens twice, and both the day before some really big elections.
Shes had YEARS in public life. I would think that if she were emotionally affected, there would be lots of incidences by now.

15. If Hillary were not running for President |
|
you would not see the media cover moments when old friends or mentors choked up with pride upon greeting her, or how Hillary responded to them doing that in front of her. It may have happened ten times before over the years, and you would never know.

Be careful of "history repeating" |
|
Arguably it was the backlash against this type of behavior (or the perception of it in the media in general) that helped clinton in NH. If you forget history(assuming this was a decisive factor in the clinton win) you may be doomed to repeat it. Even if you think the populace will adopt the "fool me once" mantra.., why test the potential "backlash" effect? Perhaps the readers of DU won't make a decisive impact on the polls but still...

no way of knowing, and even if known it would not mean much. Well... acually, if known to be fake it WOULD mean quite a lot, but there is NO WAY of knowing, so idle speculation is worse than useless. I hope the media will understand this as well, and we will not be bombarded with the same teary clip over and over and over again.

It's better to focus on why Obama should be the Dem's choice; not rage on Hillary for crying.
