Every TV clip I saw today was Obama on stage with celebs and Clinton at tables with regular people
How is Clinton ever going to get ahead without movie stars and TV show interviewers?

1. I saw her today talking one on one to a small group.
She was talking one on one to voters - not screaming talking points.

What a concept!

46. neath, uhm?!
HRC is a star all in her own rights. And primaries are bout us ... not about hollywood stars or tv interviewers ... she does not need to coast on the skirts of those hollywood stars or tv interviewers... she's got the right approach ... she is talking 1:1 to the voters! (i tried to post this thought earlier in reply to Proud2BeMurican's thread...something happened i kept getting a sign that the computer didn't recognize something or other ... now i am extremely tired, going to bed in a few minutes, and i am posting this as a response to your recognition of her ... and hopefully too as a reassurance to Proud2BeMurican's worry.) anyhow, for what is worth, i hope this posts this time.

3. I think it's weird
that obama is focusing so much on celebrities. It is clearly an attempt to turn the election into some sort of an american idol style competition. "Look at me...I'm on stage with Oprah."

Clinton is real...she is genuine, and she is focused on supporting the american people...

the oxymoronic resonance of it gave me a brain spasm

38. weird perhaps ... but comforting to know that Hill is the real deal...
I love this clip
-- it speaks to the Hillary I have known for many years.

Another example:
The entire proceeds of Hillary's first book "It takes a Village" (close to $1 million) went to charity. The proceeds from Obama's first book "The Audacity of Hope" went to purchase a $1.6 million mansion without a driveway. The audacity, the irony ....

8. He talks to a lot of ordinary people.
It's the media who chooses to show the clips of him with celebrities. Obama not Hillary is attracting many celebrities but that doesn't mean he isn't talking to the underclasses as well which he is.

a close look at her. That's nice.

rallies don't give you a close look and neither do TV ads which Obama ran in FL

22. Look at this list of stars for a Clinton event On Saturday...then delete your post.
Joining her were Magic Johnson, Bradley Whitford, Christine Lahti, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Amber Tamblyn and America Ferrera. Some of the biggest applause from the audience came for Sally Field, who said she has watched almost every debate and that she has been "overwhelmed with how Hillary Clinton behaved" in the face of attacks, "sometimes from every person on the stage."

to vote for her ... (as we have already done in Florida). hillary is a star all her own. and hillary has got her record and her work to prove who she is.

obama, on the other hand, is coasting along on the skits of oprah winfrey, caroline kennedy, maria shriver and ... doesn't seem to have a leg to stand on if it were not for the ladies' skirts.
