It's IMPERATIVE that Clinton and Obama team up on one ticket |
|
American Democrats have spoken: They want both. THAT is why even after tonight, our nominee is still undecided. The people have spoken. Will Obama and Clinton listen?

4. I dunno. Can't see Hillary accepting the Veep slot, but if she does, OK. |
|
Seriously, I would like to see her as Senate Majority Leader. Kinda tired of Harry Reid. I do honestly think she'd be great there.

Obama picks her for a running mate and I'll abstain.
Or, really, write in Kucinich or Edwards.

26. That's unfortunate, but luckily most Democrats want to win |
|
They want at least one, but most likely both candidates to win in the fall.

8. Well Clinton/Obama will |
|
never happen. He won't agree to be kinda sorta VP under Hillary. Everyone knows that when it comes to policy and such Bill would be the REAL VP.

11. I think it will get REAL ugly if they don't. Think about a scenario |
|
where they go in to the election almost tied and some party leader decides to count a certain number of Michigan or Florida delegates just to put Hillary over the top. People would explode and never forgive them.
What a crazy election.

13. sure, if she's willing to be the VP |
|
The one that has less vitrolic hatred against him is Obama, so he can neutralize "anti-Hillary" anger by appealing to a wider base.
Or we can run the Hillary-Obama ticket, and lose a vast amount of pro-Obams supporters who are tired of DLC politics, plus raise the factor that we will lose independents as well who would have supported Obama.
I'm for an Obama-Clinton ticket...but not the other way around.

18. Even if they hate each other (and they very well might) |
|
I think there's now so much energy and emotion invested on both sides that I think there will be a lot of pressure on each of them to do just that. I forsee an incredible Democratic National Convention with speakers like Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama, Al Gore, Barack, Hillary, and Mellissa Etheridge sending everyone into the ozone with a passionate rendition of "I've Been Asleep". I think a Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton ticket will be a tidal wave sweeping across the land.

I just think it's going to be a necessity after this primary.
So you Hillary and Obama partisans better start patching things up.

21. I don't know, this whole joint ticket thing is Way too premature |
|
and I do not want to see Hillary offer the VP spot to Obama early on because that to me will mean she thinks he might have a good chance of winning.
I'd rather Hillary win fair and square and only Then offer Obama the spot.
and in No way have the people All spoken, I personally have not cast my ballot, so don't assume just because You've voted that things are in any way decided.
I'm just assuming you've already voted, sorry if I'm wrong

22. Why? Obama's is a growing strength while his opponent's is a waning one. |
|
Why should he put drag on the ticket for himself and Dem candidates downticket?
TeamClinton's iron grip is showing visible stress fractures.

because Bill Clinton is going to be the assistant president. The VP for Clinton is going to be sitting in a room playing solitaire.

25. "There can be only one!" |
|
Sorry to pull the Highlander routine on you, but either Clinton or Obama will need Bill Richardson as VP for three reasons:
(1) Bill's vast diplomatic experience, including time at the UN (2) Bill's position on gun issues, which is friendlier to gun owners than Clinton's or Obama's (3) Bill as VP will convey Democratic attention to Western issues and flip some red states blue
