Who do you think Hillary will want as her VP if nominated? |
|
I've a hunch it's Bill Richardson.

If she taps Wes Clark for the job, I'll be working/volunteering for her campaign the day after it's announced.

Turks. She thinks the reason Kennedy supported Obama is to bring up his votes and essentially pressure the nom to combo the ticket, so there's no party split.
For example, if Hillary gets the nom, she picks O for VP because the party will need the supporters of both in order to whomp the Repugs.

I'm the obvious choice.
- I live in the South but have roots in the North.
- I'm a fresh face.
- I'm a terrific public speaker and reasonably charismatic
- I light on my feet and almost totally unflappable
- I take the issues, not myself, seriously
- And I can use a job paying that kind of coin, with those kind of bennies.
What's not to like?
Hill, call me.

27. I hope it's Obama or Edwards. |

I don't think Richardson would really help her that much anywhere.
Edwards would bring a lot of progressives and labor people back on board, and Obama would be a very positive Unity move.
What purpose would be served by a Richardson pick? Winning New Mexico's handful of electoral votes? Solidifying the hispanic vote, which Hilllary already pretty much has? Increasing her appeal with right-leaning dems? She's already kinda got that...
