The Clintons Massive 25% Lead in CA & MA disappeared. Obama had ONE WEEK. |
|
A little over one freaking week. Ten days to make up double digit deficit.
In ten days Obama shrank Hillary's lead in two large states.
And beat her in the MAJORITY of other states.
Super Tuesday coming so soon after SC, so many states at once, was in the front runners favor. Clinton blew it big time.
Anyone belittling Obama's performance in CA and MA and the rest of Super Tuesday states is whistling past the graveyard.

6. Do you really think Obama supporters are "crying"? really? |
|
How odd. I'm more than pleased with the results yesterday. I thought she'd take 100-200 more pledged delegates than he. In my eyes, yesterday was great for him and the upcoming races all lean in his direction. Add to that, her little money problem and his fundraising prowess, and I'm cautiously optimistic- more so than I was yesterday morning.

3. I think it's great Hillary won MA.... |
|
in spite of all the Kennedy Clan and Kerry endorsements. I was thrilled she won that state. I also get a kick out of Obama really being a winner because he shrunk the leads. That's a real hoot.

and he only one by a couple thousand votes?
Hillary wins in Blue states, Obama wins in Red states. with a few exceptions (home states, CT)

the help of McCaskill. Using Obama supporter logic that means Hillary really won.

17. Who won the DELEGATES? |
|
That is Obama supporter logic.
Show me that Clinton won the delegates - and maybe she did, I haven't seen those numbers - then you have a case.

10. Did I say he won CA or MA? Point is, Hillary supporters are too blinded by their bias |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 11:09 AM by cryingshame
they can't admit her wins in those states was about the best she could do. Hold onto leads in two states. And those leads were greatly diminished while Obama managed to on and win the majority of other states.
BTW, notice I said "bias" and not "cult mentality".
See, I'm not an asshole like so many Hillary supporters posting here.

some would call it an impossible feat! Who ever would have thought a very short time ago, that one candidate could rally so many people to engage in the political process? A real hoot for Democracy!

12. Maybe you should see were he was polling in Iowa before he won there. This primary was compressed |
|
and it favored Clintons heavily.
It was stacked against ANY challenger to the Clinton Machine.

I keep hearing it was stacked by the Clinton Machine. I will point out that in Massachusetts, for example, Barack Obama had on stage with him the Democratic Governor, both Democratic Senators, every single state wide office holding Democrat that's the Clinton Machine? Same thing in Missouri. This whole 'clinton machine' thing is getting old, since Obama is a part of the Daschle machine. The man has raised over $100 million in six months, that's not establishment enough for you? he's been endorsed by half the party. can we stop this already?
and by the way, if it was a stacked primary season, it would be winner-take-all, and this would be over already, and Hillary would be preparing to take on McCain.

14. Well, considering that she had most of the MSM |

against her, and also Liberal outlets such as Move On and Air America, the Kennedys, tons of politicians and almost all endorsements went to Obama I think she did amazingly well.

Yesterday was a GREAT showing for Obama who only needed to get close. Who knew he would dominate in so much of the country?
He has excellent national spokespeople.

18. Those leads did not disappear. They remained double digits in her victories |
|
You are reading from your hoped for script, not the actual one. Clinton won MA by 15% and she won CA by 10%. They remain substantial victories; margins greater than what Obama won Iowa by.
The race tightened but the Obama surge was checked. After closing the gap for weeks with undecideds going for Obama, those who decided in CA at the last minute broke for Clinton.

And still Obama lost Mass and Calf. instead of being happy on how will both Hillary and Obama did and how many Democrats show up to vote. But lets just keep on shitting on one another o.k. o.k.
