Interesting analysis of D health care plans on NPR |
|
The analyst pointed out that one place that Hillary and Obama are different are in their health care plans. Hillary's health care plan, even though a mandate, will cover more people at the start whereas Obama's health care plan is more voluntary. She said that this pointed to an interesting divergence in their styles. She said that Obama has said that if his plan did not cover enough people, we could go back and rework it, whereas Hillary's plan is going for as many people covered as possible from the start.
Interesting. Anyone else hear this, and was the conversation correct as I have captured it?

1. I didn't hear it on NPR but I have heard it before. |

You are correct as stated. IMO Hillary's is better because we can't allow healthy people to not get into the plan till they need it. We ALL need to be in from the start.

I gather that's one place they differ. I suppose I actually have to go and do some research now that Super Tuesday is inconclusive and I might get a vote, LOL.
