Surely the GOP are nervous that voters picked John McCain?
Not only is McCain a stale left over from 2000 GOP primary but is clouded by scandals from the past.

In case people haven't heard of the Keating Five. Here's where McCain ties in: Keating donated to the following campaign treasuries and political committees of twenty four members of congress including what is now known as the Keating five (for being investigated by the senate ethics committee)Alan Cranston, California; Dennis DeConcini, Arizona; John Glenn, Ohio; Don Riegle, Michigan (chairman of senate banking committee); and........JOHN MCCAIN, ARIZONA! Why were they investigated, you ask? They put pressure on Gray and other top officials to keep Keating's Lincoln S&L from being investigated and allowing it remain open in 1987, and it was not until 1989 that it was noted that Lincoln S&L was actually worth -948,000,000 dollars. yes, negative. McCain took a political donation to keep a failing bank open. he was aware of this. It cost the FedGov two billion (with a B) dollars to clean up Keatings S&L, and California and the US gov't filed civil & criminial charges against him.

1. Lately, I have been tuning in to the R/W radio stations and they are going NUTZ!
They think McCain is a total Liberal, turncoat.
Mittens was the chosen one, but now he is out.
They hate Huckleberry just as much as anyone else.

They have no clue what to do now.

Then again, I wanted Edwards, so I am clueless what to do also.

2. These people are activists. They are conservative more
than Republican. They are to the right of Atilla the Hun.
Seriously if you have ever listened to Ron Paul. They
are very much like Ron Paul except on Foreign Policy and
War. They are as hawkish as Paul is not. True Believers
in the Iraq War and sticking it to Iran. Only the last few
days did they even get behind Romney and that was too late.

The Country is no where near as right as they are.

Since they are Activissts McCain will try to reach out to
them. He cannot run the country as far to the right as
they are demanding. F.Luntz explained this tonight.

Here is their problem. They are feeling abandoned.
I heard one of them comment at that Conference. If McCain
is our Candidate the Moderate Republicans and Independents
will put him in office. Conservatism will not be rule.

Tom Delay ran this country from Center Right and our party
often appeased him. This is what ran the country in the ditch.
They are not willing to admit this. They are lashing out
at MCCain as they perceive Conservatism being abandaoned.
