JFK & LBJ all over. Can't lose. One to incite the people. The other to "sign it into law." Now I get it. All those analogies in the early campaign days are beginning to make sense.....
Yes we can! This scrappy little team.... BHO & HRC.

Clinton hasn't acted in a smart strategic way for more than a year now.
We need to repair the damage in this party. If Hillary wins the nomination, she will ABSOLUTELY lose the general election if she doesn't put Obama on the ticket. I think Obama may fare better, but he'll have to spend too much valuable time repairing riffs that could be easily done by putting Hillary on the ticket.
Obama will stay in until the convention. Hillary will stay in until the convention. That means we'll probably have a "brokered convention," since both can conceivably win the nomination.
I actually think the math is better for Obama, that's why I have his name first.
Obama and Hillary are basically tied in popular vote and delegates. But I really think Obama will win the vast majority of states coming up. Hillary has a chance in Ohio and Texas, but if she doesn't win there, she will be at a 100 to 150 delegate disadvantage; not to mention having lost 30 to 35 states to Obama and (once the upcoming states are factored in) she will lose the popular vote to him as well. How could the super-delegates actually support her after that?
It might even be a rout.
Clinton supporters don't want to admit this, but he's in the drivers seat here.
Clinton joining as VP would unify the party and become the strongest ticket we've put together since Clinton-Gore.

That would likely mean Clinton in eight more years, and I'd rather not see her as President.
However, if it happens, I will support them.
