I am a 65 year old woman. I do not plan to vote for Hillary, does
that make me "anti-women", I do not plan to vote for Barrack, does that make me "anti-black"?

Because we have these two factors in the presidential race that were not options before, are we required to choose one of these candidates? Surely we are allowed, whatever our race or gender, to have an opinion and should not be compelled to believe in or vote for either because because of race or gender alone.

I happen to believe John Edwards had a message that made sense to me. Our current choices do not correspond to my thoughts about where and how we need to face the future.

My feeling has nothing to do with race or gender, it has to do with message.

1. Please don't be bullshat into believing this election is about race or gender.
It's about getting a Democrat elected president. And the most proven way of getting Dems elected is for Dems to vote for 'em.

2. So instead of voting for the Dem nominee,
you'll 'vote' for McCain, by default?

4. No, I will not vote for McCain. I will decide my vote later, closer
to the election. My vote will not be wasted on the likes of McCain. I will vote for the Democratic candidate. I hope my vote will be about the message. It will not be about race or gender.

3. Edwards for attorney general
That could be a likely outcome if Clinton or Obama becomes president.

It is impossible if Mcain becomes president.

5. You are entitled to your choices. The anti-woman - they know who they are
and sometimes - they let it out for all to see.
No one says that the mere voting for another candidate makes you sexist.
Although I do know however a few people who stated that if you don't vote a certain candidate you are racist.

6. If you don't vote for the Dem. nominee, your vote is for 100 years of war.
I know you don't see it that way, but that's what it comes down to. Grandpa McCain is going to make sure the flag-covered boxes keep coming back from the Middle East for decades to come. Sometimes you have to hold your nose and vote for the overall good.

8. LOL! I'm a 66 yr-old woman and
I agree with you 100%

I did really like DK, but was very happy to support John Edwards after Dennis dropped out.

What we have left is not what I was looking for in a President.
I will vote for the nominee, & Obama doesn't scare me as much as Clinton, but I can't say I support either one.

it may just reflect your "good breeding" as they use to say. Being raised in the 50's I take it; then women knew where their place was in the line of things, raised that way by their mothers, following tradition., take care of the home was the job at hand.

Women only got the right to vote in the 20's so, no, your not anti-woman. Today, in a male dominate society, Priest are always male even if they screw the alter boy...no woman in that prime leadership role. Today, women make 25 cents to the dollar less that a male in the same job.

So, go ahead, vote Obama if you must.....I'm for Hillary. I am honored at the personal sacrifice she is making as a woman. Never, ever has any Presidential Candidate taken the male dominate hard line interrogation, continually, by multiple sources at the same time like an AK-47; 24/7....year after year but most intensely during these Primaries...I could never stand up to that abuse.

Yea, I am amazed at her strength, brilliance ,endurance and desire to make life better for me, you and my daughters by taking this the risk to be President of the United States....a leader of Men! She is my Hero.
