WHAT?
Turn on C-Span, Barack. They have the accurate times. :-)
Obama said in the debate that missing the Iran vote was due to "Casualties of the campaign."
How many passes does this guy get? I think he gets a pass for every delegate he wins. Or perhaps a delegate comes with every pass? I'm not sure.
Something tells me that Republicans won't be so nice to him come Spring. I don't think they're going to play nice with the media darling, Barack Obama. The Republicans won't care about upsetting Obama's base with racist remarks; they don't get votes from African Americans anyway.
Obama missed the Iran vote; can he just take responsibility for that?
It's interesting -- Obama criticizes every vote of Hillary's which he didn't even show up for. Perhaps he should actually vote himself before he goes out and criticized Hillary for being accountable. Hillary must have flipped on C-Span like the rest of us.

|
Obama wasn't even there for the orig vote on Kyl Lieberman.
He left for Maine that evening while the debate continued and decided not go back to DC the next day but stay for the NH primary.
He found out that morning that a vote would be held, vote was held around 12:45.
Every other Senator running for Prez made both the vote and the NH debate that evening.
My personal take is Obama never thought Hillary would vote yes on it and has been kicking himself every since for missing a vote to campaign.

16. Just letting her DLC friends give Bush what he wants |
|
Look at the list of crossovers....85% are DLC. They vote that way just about every time Bush wants more power over our government and our citizens.
Hillary is one of the leaders of the DLC....I think she knew what her allies were going to do and decided not to interfere. After all, she gets all those nifty powers should she ram herself through our primary system.
And people tell me the DLC is irrelevent...irrelevent enough to have given us EVERY SINGLE Bush power grab since the jerk took office.
I am telling you...the neocons and the DLC are the same "shadow party" that has coopted both parties....no matter what happens in this country, the neocons will have their way because they are leading BOTH parties.
And like football fans, so many of us DUers can only see R's and D's and actually vote tokeep these DLC assholes in, effectively removing any opportunity we have to be an opposition party. I'd rather be a minority opposition party than a majority neocon-enabling party.

http://www.openleft.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=2369---- Both Edwards and Obama have made it clear they will break the power of the wireless gatekeepers, the telecom lobbyists who gut our laws, and the Comcast traffic shaping tyrants. Clinton, though, has been a noted absence in the debate about spectrum, mumbling about it incoherently at Yearlykos, and her plan for broadband was written by the telcos and doesn't include net neutrality. She still hasn't come out clearly on retroactive immunity, as her campaign's ties to telecom lobbyists are not trivial, and it looks from her possible FCC choices that her administration would be a continuation of the Clinton-Bush years of media and telecom deregulation.

Which is a fundamentally illegal dragnet of all US communications.
That is what they DO at NSA.
They use telecom routers to "cache" and filter all phone and e-mail traffic just like Google does.
The same way Hitler (and the anti-abolitionists) used to go through everyones' mail.
