4. I am a newly converted HRC supporter. Just came back from seeing her

in Wisconsin (Kenosha) today. I didn't get to hear her speak but, visually, she is 100% gorgeous in person. I was about 3 feet away from her and she is as pretty as a picture and so warm and friendly, the freezing cold crowd was just swooning being near her.

I know these are superficial and, somewhat, shallow comments - but what can I say???? She's "gorjus!" I'm trying to figure out how to post some photos...

I did not think the tone was appropriate to a friendly dinner of Democrats supporting both candidates. Hillary was very positive to Obama, I thought. He just kept to his stump speech and I thought the attacks were not appropriate for the forum.

"Voyage to a Thousand Cares: Master's Mate Lawrence with the African Squadron 1844-1846" by C. Herbert Gilliland. It's the journal of a young seaman who sailed with the U.S. African Naval Squadron when they (along with the British fleet) were trying to suppress the African slave trade in the mid-1840's. Fascinating stuff.

Weather, certainly is smiling over Obama.

Right before Super Tuesday, Edwards came to visit the Twin Cities and the temp. was -11 with wind chill of -30 (or so).

Over the Weekend, Obama enjoyed a mid twenties weather that allowed people to stand in line for hours before the doors opened.

Fast forward one week and the temp. dropped to, again -16 with a wind chill of -39..
