How you can tell the "powers that be" want Hillary out in the primaries.
Put those words that Michelle Obama spoke about being proud of her country for the first time in her adult life into the mouths of either Bill or Hillary and you would be hearing nothing else on the MSM. The fact that little is being made of her statement by the MSM but lots of talk about it on Rush and Hannity, shows me just who the "powers" are really afraid of and it Hillary. They will give the Obamas a pass on anything they say while raising to blitzkrieg levels anything that the Clintons or their supporters say. They are afraid of a Hillary nomination and run for the Presidency. I think because she would handily beat McCain with the female vote. They know Obama would not present such a challenge. The hands have been dealt and Hillary is not sitting at the table.

2. The Clintons didnt earn much loyalty from the "powers that be"
They had a contentious relationship with the press during Bill's two terms, and they alienated many long time Democrats because of the massive loses of Democratic influence when the GOP took over Congress and many state governments in the 90's.

You were expecting flowers after that?

6. Considering how much he gave them, maybe yes...
I agree that the Clintons put themselves first on the political bus, however, Bill gave the media:

Media consolidation out the butt.
Digital Millennium Copyright Act, which turned the FBI into the MP3 police...
(and to those who own and control the media)
Offshore outsourcing.
GATT, NAFTA... etc., etc.

In all fairness...

Natalie Maines faced a systematic campaign against her group started because of her obscure criticism of George Bush...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natalie_Maines#Iraq_War_criticism_and_fallout

John Kerry misspoke ONE SINGLE WORD in a speech about getting stuck in Iraq, and the media cycled all over it until he ended up apologizing for it at least twice, and it all but killed any chance he had running, going into this election...
http://www.boston.com/news/globe/city_region/breaking_news/2006/10/kerry_says_he_b.html

But what Mrs. Obama said wasn't a slip of the tongue, and was quite intentional...

I only hope that the "good will" which borders on the free ride John Kennedy got from the media, won't come to disappoint the true believers too much when the rug's pulled out from under them...

3. I think they're just tired of Clinton and her sidekick, not frightened.
And there are numbers out to support the fact that she'd be beaten by McCain while Obama wouldn't. Try again.

4. Isen't Obama catching it now for using the other guys few lines?
If a poll was taken I bet a lot of Americans would not be proud of America for the things we have done like Iraq, a no good health care system, a inferstructure that is going down along with the school system, etc, etc. Yes there is much good and great things here in America but pride is a overall feeling and that feeling can be put out by bad things.

5. And if Hillary said it they would have twisted it
to Hillary saying something favorable about the country. Something like, "Hillary has such PASSION that she sees the country like she never has before in her adult life. And is the "ONLY ONE" with the experience to pull this country together.

BULLSHIT! She has protesters and hecklers against her "NOW".

MSM is all bullshit and they will frame any story to make a message out of it the way they want you to hear it.

ahhhh... but it's over soon anyway. 10 in a row for THE "O"

She has had nothing but advertisement on MSM since SUPER TUESDAY!! Now compare this to Edwards who would have been ignored (much the same way he was, and like Hillary with little money, it's bye bye. BUT NO!!!!, we have Hillary to protect!!! Huck, you go as Edwards went, bye bye. Your in McCain's way Huck. Hill, 24/7 Hillary TV!! Now tell your BS to someone who doesn't know shit, perhaps look toward a Hillary supporter.

that surrounded her for a year.
