Some reading for those of you who prefer to be lazy citizens. 64 pages of it. |

http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/ObamaBlueprintForChange.pdfI'm sick of hearing that Obama has no plans and doesn't stand for anything. His plan for rebuilding America has been out here for a while. Quit being lazy and read it. And I'll be happy to keep kicking this to the top to give you all a chance to quite being lazy and read the man's words. Now, get your cup of coffee and your bagel or corn flakes and settle down to breakfast.

7. His plans are not that different from Hillary's |
|
So this election will mostly be decided by factors other than policy. And Obama is running away with that competition.

15. Unfortunately, if his plans are bullshit so are hers. They're identical in most places. |
|
Negative campaigning just turns into a character thing, and that's not territory Clinton will win on.

5. These plans are never the candidate's words. |
|
The policies are written by his policy team, approved by the candidate, and then rewritten by the communications staff. Just so you know.

9. On Taxes...he talks about the tax credit for "working class" |
|
Americans to offset the payroll tax...
He talks about the Bush tax cuts for the rich, not for the middle class...
He doesn't talk about raising taxes on the rich. He has to pay for his proposals. Is he or isn't he going to raise taxes on the wealthy? And if so, why isn't that in his plan?

10. He's going to roll back bush tax cuts for the rich |
|
He says so in his stump speech. He emphasizes that his plan is revenue-neutral.

11. Obama has done deplorable in the debates where he is forced to discuss issues. |
|
The truth is he cannot talk about the issues in a manner that is presidential. And for the most part, his supporters do even worse than he does in their lack knowledge of the issues, and can only pump negativity against anyone that dares to have the audacity to try to discuss issues. It is obvious that others put a whole bunch of pages together for him. And it is more than positive that his rhetorical oration lacks substance.
I started off this primary season (1) Edwards (2) Obama (3) Hillary, and my husband was 100% Hillary.
Here on DU I found the abject bashing of Hillary on non-substantive issue a challenge to me to dig deep into the issues, and into those issues in particular that mattered most to my life, my family, my extended family, my friends, community, coworkers and neighbors.
A dear friend of my died on an emergency room cot because the staff was overwhelmed with the non-insured using the emergency room as their primary care physician. Obama's health plan neglects to take care of this vital issue. My health insurance costs have risen from $300/month seven years ago to $1,250/month today for the same identical coverage. Most of that increase is to pay for the millions of Floridians that flood our emergency rooms for free. Obama's health plan neglects to provide any relief to my family. That one issue on a personal basis facilitates my support of Hillary. But there are others, equally important. The school children, the school districts, and the teachers of Florida are totally overwhelmed by the failures of NCLB. Hillary now wants to throw it out. Obama merely wants to update it.
Whenever just these two issues alone are brought up here at DU - - Obama supporters merely scream (paraphrasing) 'Hillary's plan is mandatory - she's not going to steal my money' or they scream 'Hillary supported NCLB, Obama didn't'.
The irony of the screamers on DU is how much they mirror the ugly image of the Obama Campaign. But the ugly side of the Obama Campaign is an integral side of Obama's two faces.

13. Thank you for that. He stumbles over issues and his supporters, |
|
as was mentioned in an article, can only point to his website. They pile on anyone, like schoolyard bullies, who tries to make a point.
I finally went to his website to read his plans for eternal war.
If I were a parent of draft age kids, I'd be going bonkers. He's almost identical to McCain. There going to be endless war. Brzezinski is his point man, nuf said.
