1. Interesting sign: "We support Hillary to bring our son home." |
|
(Not everybody buys the BS that she wants the war to keep going.)
“This is one of the oldest and most beautiful towns in Texas,” Clinton said.
He's right. It is a lovely town.

5. Who was he caring about when he urged Dems to support Bush on Iraq war because of what |
|
he knew about Iraq when he was president? Sounds to me like Bill had no problem delivering cooked intel to Dems same way Bush did.

6. I know. These people in small town texas never get to see |
|
the candidates except maybe for senate, but only every two/four years. Texas is rarely a player on the big stage since we are so red and our primary is so late. This is a real treat for south texans.

7. I'd go see Bill Clinton speak, and I'm an Obama supporter |
|
He can still give a hell of a stump speech. I saw him last year when he came to MA to campaign for my congresscritter, who was elected in a special election.

12. This is cool -- looks like an RFK tour pic -- but South Texas is heavily Hispanic and very very Blue |
|
Republicans have already ceded it not just to the Clintons (who met while organizing there) but to Kerry and Gore who also won big there.
