I am tired of people who complain about the rules only after it hurts their candidate. I see both sides doing that right now.

1. I don't always agree with your posts -- but I agree with this one.

2. How about one primary for all states, let's say on super
Tuesday. I know party insiders actually like the way it's done now because the candidates can concentrate on campaigning in a few states and not all 50, but it doesn't serve the people and is not fair to the majority of the electorate. It can be done if there is campaign finance reform wherein all qualifying candidates are given a set amount of money to campaign with by the government. We should also hold the conventions shortly afterwards to select nominees. Then that time until the general election can be used to campaign by the nominees of each party.

3. I don't think either side is trying to "change the rules" about delegates
What I mean is, it's not wrong for Obama to simply argue, "you should vote for the candidate with the most pledged delegates". Nor is it wrong for Clinton to remind pledged delegates that they are not bound to support Obama.

Honestly this shit is tame compared to the conventions of 100 years ago. I guess Democrats were made of sterner stuff then.
