This debate was a draw, and that means Hillary lost |
|
She needed to WIN, and win undisputedly. That did not happen tonight. She did just fine, but so did he.

1. I think Clinton threw him on the mat and stepped on his adam's apple at the end. |
|
Clinton won.
YMMV.
Not may, will, but it doesn't change my view.

10. Someone Who Voted To Authorize The War Talking About Wounded Vets? |

And trying to make light of the Lewinsky scanda? Not.

13. Make light of? She noted that it was her most trying time, and you think because she didn't tear |
|
out her hair, she made light of it? Please. You're not too nuanced, are you?
And who funded that war? Why...every candidate did. That dog doesn't hunt.
The war authorizer would get the forces home sooner than the speechifying peacenik who wants to bomb Pakistan...but whatever. Saint Barry can do no wrong, I guess.

Obama was cool, calm, collected.
Clinton needed to change the dynamic ... and that didn't happen.
No one found any reason to change their vote from one candidate to another on the basis of this debate.

5. Her picture perfect finish was the last image left with voters. |
|
And I thought Hillary sounded and looked better tonight.
She had a great performance.

6. I thought Hillary did great, myself. |
|
She seems sharper in debates to me than Obama ... it looks like everybody on this board disagrees with me, but I liked her better.

11. They both did well. Hillary did well on healthcare, Obama did real good |
|
on the war. Hillary made that last good impression.
This has been so much fun.

It was a draw, but the booing moment put her on the losing end. She needed a "grand slam" and she didn't even come close.

12. She ended well. Let's see what the media shows as key moments. That |
|
will determine how others score the debate.
