Obama should definitely stick to public financing |
|
Its the right thing to do and will set a strong moral precedent. Someting has to be done about the buying of elections. Obama will have no moral standing to address the issue seriously, if he uses his (unnecessary) financial advantage against McCain in the general election.
This is the perfect time to do right! There is almost no risk to it.

I can understand why he would opt out of public financing, and I am more comfortable with it given the fact that he has been able to raise so much from small donors. But I believe strongly in public financing, and I think he does too, and I am a little disappointed to see him compromise on this.
