How many debates do you think there will be this year?
I am thinking that if its Obama and McCain or even Hillary and McCain, McCain will want as few debates as possible b/c they very image of him standing next to those 2 makes him look like a creepy lil grandpa. I'm thinking 3, what do you think?

2. McCain will be behind and short on funds... he'll need them, even though he's not good at them....

4. You really think he won't be able to raise as much as Obama?
I hope so but I don't want to get my hopes up. Well you're probably right. But also the media loves McCain it seems and gives him the benefit of the doubt as apparent with the NYTimes story so we will need to raise as much money as possible.

6. Obama has roughly 1,000,000 donators... averaging about $149 each......
....He's got a freaking ATM machine.

McCain isn't in Obama's stratosphere when it comes to funds.... and he won't. There's less enthusiasm on the GOP side this year... and less enthusiasm means less funds.

This is the whole reason that McCain is trying to get Obama to stick with the idea of using public funds. It would limit Obama and McCain each to the $86 million they'd get from the Presidential Campaign fund.

Obama knows that he'll raise 4 or 5 times that amount if he doesn't accept public financing. McCain knows that as well.

11. good. I hope you're right. Obama needs all the money he can get to ward off rethug attacks
like the anti-american crap. It looks like McCain might not be able to get out of public financing either with FEC. I plan on donating $100 every 2 weeks in the GE. My bf and I are going through a rough time starting our own firm so funds are really tight right now but this is just too impt.

5. I hate to admit it
but when I see him on stage, I feel down right bad for the man. His politics suck, but jesus.. he cant lift his arms because of war injuries.. something is growing out the side of his face... He needs to go do something like.. golf or bingo. He's on what.. his third wife who makes him look like 90.

I think they will have 4 debates, but I still think we need to give him some warm milk and cookies and tell him to go rest at home and forget about this run.. maybe read him a story to. ;)

7. no doubt the man went through hell,
but i've heard people who know him say he's in really good physical shape. he hikes and he's hard to keep up with.

the thing on the side of his face isn't growing. it's the scar from the skin cancer they removed several years ago.

8. Thats good to hear
I don't wish ill health on anyone. But how it is and how it appears is to different matters. I have also heard he has one hell of a temper attached to one very short fuse. If this is true, it might make for some entertaining debates.

12. I read today that he said he wished Fidel Castro dead or something
I read some of the comments and ppl were outraged that he would wish death on someone. I wouldn't even wish it on my own worst enemy. And also when I read about the joke where he called Chelsea Clinton ugly, it really turned me off. The man has no tact or grace, I hope he'll make many more mistakes like these ahead.

13. It's a button, but I don't know where you can get it.
I found the image online, but I'm pretty sure they sell them because I saw Ted Kennedy wearing it at an event in Maine a while back.

14. He'll want 4 or more. And the right to stand on a box, hidden behind the podium.

15. 3 tentatively scheduled
If Clinton/McCain (not discounting anyone here) then McCain will push for 2 or 3 more

If Obama/McCain, then McCain will pull out after 2 citing scheduling conflicts
