2. That would be a good pick.
I would love to see him in a debate with some neocon. He would tear him apart.

10. IMO
An Obama/Biden ticket would mean a "see ya, wouldn't wanna be ya" moment for McCain.

15. I'd like
to see Richardson as sec of state and Clark as sec of def.

Biden, imo, would almost guarantee a runaway election and we'd secure those repubs who are already considering us.

18. I don't know if Biden would take it or not
He has said many times that he was only interested in the Presidency, and would not accept another position in the administration. We would also have to be careful about losing too many Dem senators unless it was guaranteed to be another Dem replacing them. For example, Mark Warner in Virginia. I think he would make a great VP choice, but I think without Mark Warner, the dems wouldn't pick up that Senate seat. I think it is a delicate balance. I would love to see Richardson somewhere in an administration, but I don't think he is strong enough for VP.

31. Biden's son would be able to take over for him
and that talk about not accepting less the Presidency is something they all say. He'll do it in a heartbeat if asked.

I wasn't aware he was already in Iraq. I guess that could complicate things.

19. If we had a more liberal person at the head of the ticket, I would be
ok with Biden as VP. Otherwise, he just increases the corporate friendly nature of the ticket. The Senator from the great state of DELAWARE is good on foreign policy issues, though, so he'd be better as Sec of State.

Richardson obviously would help with the hispanic vote, but he would also bring great experience.

24. Two Senators is generally not a good pick
Biden is strong on security & defense issues - so could help in that regard.

Even though I LOVE Biden personally - I don't see him adding that much to the ticket.

I think Obama would be better off with a Governor - or some other national figure.

My top senatorial pick is Jim Webb.

26. Although I would like that ticket quite a bit...
Biden has Secretary of State written all over him.

I think he would be an excellent SOS, and would help to restore our credibility around the world.

30. Far better than Jim Webb; hopefully Barack would use Biden for
his foreign policy experience and not display arrogance by thinking he knows more than Biden. I hear rumors of Jim Webb as VP--makes me nervous as it would be too right leaning in my opinion.

32. I'm a Big Fan of Biden...BUT
I think the VP needs to be able to help win a state or be a serious attack dog. And I think Obama is already popular and loved enough in Deleware.

I still think Kaine, Webb, or someone like Sheldon Brown make a little more sense

is silly.

It would be weird for Barack to take Biden considering how he rips Hillary for authorizing the war. Richardson would probably be better.

I would like Biden in an Obama cabinest maybe, though in that case we would have to fill another senate seat. I don't see him as VP, however.

I like Biden, but keep thinking that a young, galvanizing candidate will be needed to extend Obama's vision and work into the next generation... Obama has to be thinking about his successor in this VP choice, no?
