I'm glad of the NAFTA flap, myself |

Isn't it long past time we had a real discussion of "free trade agreements" on the corporate media?
Our corrupt, soulless economic system has been the one thing that could not be questioned. Religious right issues, the war, immigration, government corruption, spying, the environment, all these could be talked about and debated. But not corporate "free trade." Now the candidates are arguing about who has the best record on fair trade.
Dare I suggest that we might actually see this sacred cow thrown down and destroyed by the next administration?

1. I'm thinking that it must give Dennis Kucinich a good feeling, too |

That this agreement is getting some scrutiny and late in the Primary season, too. Hopefully, the discussion won't fade too fast. And we'll see some strong commitments by both of our candidates regarding its future.
