Where was Gore at this point in the battleground states? |
|
Anyone have any links or polls pointing to wher Gore was early in the game?
It seems like he was trailing Bush in most polls until the convention where he got a pretty good boost. What about the battleground states like WI, PA, IA, MN, and MI?

but I will never understand how Americans could choose Bush over Gore (yeah, I know about Florida). But I can't even understand how it could have been close between Gore and Bush.

5. And base their votes on silly things... |

This is personal, but I think the Debates really hurt Gore. He just came off really bad during the debates. He looked like he was sneering and superior. People liked Bush better. It was a gut feeling for some people who weren't paying attention to the words but just looking at the people.
Hopefully the same thing won't happen to Kerry. That by the time it comes to a debate that he'll have his answers short and to the point and easy to understand and won't give a "Senator" answer to any questions.
