Tuesday April 06, 2004--Senator John F. Kerry leads President George W. Bush 47% to 44% in the latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll.
Following troubling developments in Iraq, the President's Job Approval rating has dropped to its lowest level in 2004. At the same time, the nation's level of economic confidence is on the rise.
A related survey conducted this weekend found that Americans are less confident about the War on Terror than they have been all year. Just 47% now say the U.S. and its allies are winning. That's down from 54% right after the Madrid bombings. Thirty percent (30%) now say the terrorists are winning, up from 22% in mid-March
