Rendell-Street feud may produce more Kerry campaign cash
By CHRIS BRENNAN

brennac@phillynews.com

For Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, the bitter feud between Gov. Rendell and Mayor Street may add up to more campaign cash from Pennsylvania.

First, Street pulled his support from fund-raisers that Rendell is hosting for Kerry on April 16 in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Now, Street is developing two fund-raisers of his own for April 29, when Kerry will be back in Pennsylvania for a Rendell-sponsored breakfast in Harrisburg.

One prominent Democratic fund-raiser, who asked not to be identified, said Rendell has been grousing to political players that Street is trying to "undermine" his efforts for Kerry.
