What if my soul says to vote for Kerry?
I mean, voting for Kerry will prevent a total take-over of this country by a far rightwing fascist regime. Voting for Nader will help ensure *'s re-Selection. In addition, Nader is in bed with the corporate whores BIG TIME. Why, oh why, would I want to vote for such a person????

On the other hand, Kerry has the most liberal voting record of any person in the Senate today, and will protect those rights we want and are entitled to, such as reproductive choice, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. Yep, my soul speaks loud and clear to the fact that Kerry is the only 2004 candidate who can protect my beloved homeland, including my Constitutional rights, from destruction.

1. Because I believe, from the bottom of my heart, that war is bad
And John Kerry supports this war. As we get closer to the election, watch him continue to slide further and further towards the Right.
We've been had, folks. Time to take corrective action.

peace

4. stronger position
I honestly believe the Left is in a stronger position as the out-of-power party then we would be with "one of our own" who supports war. We would be forced to justify his actions instead of keeping the eye of truth on him like a laser, as we can now.

Bush will not last 4 more years because i guarantee he will do something (he has already) so stupid the mainstream media will be forced to focus on it, and he will therefore be impeached. We will lose this opportunity if Kerry is in office.

16. they didn't count the votes anyway
stop blaming Nader for daring to open up the debate. Such chickenshits. It was the republicans with Scalia and Jeb Bush and Kathryn Harris that stole the election.

nader is expressing free speech by running for office, nothing more and nothing less.

Supporting shutting him up is like saying everyone shut up, the wealthy have picked our two candidates, pick one and shut your mouth. Meanwhile, in effect the Democratic party floats into the neocon philosophy.

Nelson Mandela pontificates clearly that during his stay in prison it was very helpful to learn about the philosophy of you enemy- that's how you can fight him. See otherwise, you say No war and they ignore you and say No gay marriage. You have to be prepared with organized thoughts and arguments against their agenda, which is not the liberal agenda, theoretically.

I read the Neocon Bible which is the Project for the New American Century. The plan for America to dominate the world, because its the Christian thing to do. You better be careful and learn about it too, or you just might start adhering to it without knowing it.

34. David Walker's Appeal
to the colored people most expressly of the United States.

Back in the 1800 when The President of the US said Blacks were of another species, the white majority still suffers in various ways, from this misinformation. Today the president still disenfranchises democrats and treats Arabs as the new Blacks.

People still can not see a Black man or a woman as the President. my advice is to stop looking to the President as our leader, look to the people. That is why the platform is so very important, like the war. I mean are we going to pick the President because he looks the part?

All I've seen from you is invective, name-calling, and suspicion. Democrats need not be afraid of actively engaging the debate with logic and clarity. When you resort to name-calling and suspecting the motives of your debatee, all it does is make you look callous and weak, and shows you have no trust in your position.

20. Nader's run was sufficient for a Bush victory
Everyone acknowledges there were other causes like the SC, intimidation of black voters, conservative Democrats voting for Bush, et cetera.

However, without Nader in the race taking 90000 votes in Florida, Gore would be in office today. But giving Bush four years isn't good enough for you people; you want to encourage him with another term.

Kerry is more liberal than Wellstone and you're attacking him. Shame on you. Why do you want Bush to have another term?

encourage the shallowness of the debate. No one will ever agree on all the issue of a candidate. We are all different people with different views. However, can you be against the war and for Kerry? This is the problem all the Kerry Cheeleaders have, when it comes to the issues, the candidates are virtually indistinguishable. Of course we have gotten to know W. so well over the last few years and at least Kerry has a 200 word plus vocabulary.

10. ABM is right
I think illegally disenfranchised voters from Florida should get two votes this time.

Kerry is going further right. We have been had again.

The war is wrong and that is why we all supposedly hate Bush, however we start to hear the weeping women cry out for the man that will save them. The man that will beat Bush for them. On the major issues, Kerry is a big fat zero so far.

Read The Buying of the President 2004 and see that Kerry is sponsored by big money.

As Mumia Abu says, Bush and Kerry are basically the same when compared to the average American.

I think I'll write in Mumia. Passionate, honest, a prisoner of the system.
