Terry McAuliff is a "deer in the headlights type" and should Not be |
|
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 05:02 PM by KoKo01
be Defending Kerry on Cable or Network Television!
He just let Ed Gillespi trash Kerry with so many LIES I can't count them all on MSNBC with Lester Holt. One lie after the other and McAuliff never addressed one of them. Instead McAuliff looking nervous and shifty said "John Kerry's "dis-service" in the military." (A horrible slip of the tongue" which would have been laughable or excusable if we didn't have to FIGHT for time on the whore media)
McAuliff also didn't say that Kerry's attackers who didn't "serve," instead he used the words who didn't "go to Vietnam" or some other such inane phrase. He needed to say: "The President and Vice President who didn't "SERVE AND SACRIFICE THEIR LIVES in VietNam."
He is poor quality in interviews. He may be able to raise tons of bags of money for Kerry, but he's totally ineffectual in defending him against the multiple lies of Gillespie.
Did anyone else see this. As I said, I got so angry and there were so many Gillespi lies like "John Kerry didn't want our troops to have body armour, John Kerry is the "Anti-War Candidate." Lie after lie after lie.
Since when has John Kerry been promoting himself as the Anti-War Candidate. Hey! as an "Anti-Iraq Invasion protestor" I've been tougher on Kerry than anyone, and for Gillespi to get by with that one and not trash Gillespi was too much for me! Kerry is not positioning himself as an "Anti War Candidate." Gillespi is confusing this with VietNam, intentionally!
DUMP MCAULIFF! Before we get "GORED!" The Whore Media is at it again and McAuliff has some old "out of print" campaign book he's using which isn't agressive enough for these times when our lives and our country are in peril from the Fascists!

3. McAuliffe eviscerated Chinless Ed on the Today Show yesterday. |
|
And later on American Morning. So millions more saw his better performances. McAuliffe usually handles these "debates" quite well.

4. None of our donations go to the DNC - McAuliff is a big turn off and |
|
we worry he's making financial decisions for DNC - don't want him and his poor judgement having access to any of our hard earned money.
Instead, we've been donating regularly to our state caucus, Kerry (the campaign site) and Move On - plus misc candidates across the country who need help.
Just NOT McAuliff's DNC.

6. He shouldn't be speaking for Kerry....although maybe the whore media |
|
plans it that way. Put Chairman of Repug and Dem parties on together and it's "equal time." What I saw said that McAuliff wasn't defending Kerry but blithering while Gillespi put out at least 10 Repug talking points.
It was awful. McAuliff needs to get the DNC to send him to some classes where he learns to counter "Repug Disinformation!"
Seriously!

5. He's been very strong lately |
|
If he sucked today, he deserves criticism. I'm still comforatble with him as a lead attack dog. I've seen him thrive in many forums one-on-one with Pukes like the Chinless One.

I think McCauliffe is too close to corporations and isn't strong enough for the party. I would really like to see a new chair who is more militant and less "DLCish."

Can you possibly give support to this campaign instead of going negative on people supporting Kerry.

9. McAuliff isn't "just people supporting the campaign." He failed us Dems |
|
with Gore and the Mid-Term Elections. He isn't doing any better being a spokesperson for us Dems than he did in the past based on what I saw tonight.

10. Sure. As soon as Kerry and "people supporting" him GROW SOME BALLS! |
|
Terry didn't get the name "Mc Useless" without earning it. He basically threw the 2002 midterm to the 'Pukes. And his alleged performance yesterday (which I didn't see) would have been the exception, not the rule. And Kerry's been playing like the Quarterback who secretly bet against his own team, letting Bush and the whore media sack him everytime he appears to have the perfect opportunity for the touchdown pass.

13. Yup, in 02 he decided to go after Jeb, and blew every other race..... |
|
....and one more thing....Louisiana was won by Landrieu herself, not Terry McAwful. I can't wait till they dump his ass....he may be great at fundraising, but not steering a party.

11. McAuliffe got demoted by Kerry |
|
I think we'll be seeing more of Dick Durbin and Stephanie Tubbs-Jones on TV, and less of McAuliffe. Maybe they're going to phase him out instead of just dumping him.
I think he's ok, btw. He really put AWOL on the front pages, along with Michael Moore and Wes Clark.
