I did not start this election season as an Obama fan.
I did not start this election season as an Obama fan.
I did not start this election season as a Clinton fan.

I started this election season as a life time democrat desperate to see the end of Bushco and to see a democratic administration in 2009.

Whoever is our nominee I will work my hardest and contribute to that campaign wholeheartedly.

I cannot see Obama winning in November.

(Just a personal view people.)

1. Whoever is our nominee...we need to make SURE that person beats the repukes
because the environment can't take another 4 years of raping and pillaging like what Bush has done to it in 7 1/2.

That and a bunch of other obvious reasons why.

3. Agreed
I may get mad sometimes and say I won't vote for Clinton if she gets the nomination, but the bottom line is, I can't see myself going through with that decision, because I know that this election is too important. And if she is the nominee, I'll probably get motivated and volunteer for her...right now I am pretty partisan about my candidate, but I hope I will be able to get motivated once we have a nominee.

26. I'm very much like you, from the other side of this primary season.
I've said I wouldn't vote for Obama. Then I've reconsidered, and subsequently again said I wouldn't vote for Obama, usually because one of his supporters has said something to set me off.

But when it comes right down to it in November, I'm pretty sure what I'll do. There is too much at stake - SCOTUS, the environment, the war (and maybe MORE war) - to do nothing.

I'm a Democrat first. Last. And always.

2. Me neither. I wanted Gore to get back in. I kinda liked Edwards. I looked at all of them closely.
I rested with Clinton as she was the closest to my views of the final two.

5. Obama will be tough enough against McCain
Right now he's taking it easy because he can't alienate Hillary's supporters. In another week, the poll numbers will bounce back and he'll be on top of McCain again.

I'm voting for Obama because I've always considered Hillary unelectable (and I like him more than I like her). It would be far uglier if Limpballs got a chance to unleash his minions against a Clinton.

By the time November comes around, there should be about a bazillion newly registered Democrats voting for our nominee.

11. Obama is what we need because once he is our nominee we are making a huge, huge
statement to every US Citizen and to the world around us.

We have changed internally, our direction has changed,
we are learning from the mistakes of the past that lays within our shared history,
shared whether we are white, black or any other color, whether we are male or female.

That Change is our motive in putting forth Obama as our choice ( Hillary is all about the status Quo )
a new direction that we together will develop and move from when he lives in our shared White House.

He is about as real and as close to ordinary Americans as we have ever come, he is one of us and
speaks to us as one of us, he must be our President if we are to win over the corporations which
still back up the likes of Hillary and John McCain while damaging ordinary American lives.

This nation and the world it lives with will know that the public, the citizens of this nation regret the
past 8 years to the point that we toss them away and bring on a new President with no connections to
that past, his name is Barack Obama.

13. Agree or not
I do not think he can win.

Just a personal opinion.

(And by the way - no need to get over-excited because I have absolutely no influence on the outcome.)

25. That's only if he can win the GE.
If he doesn't win the GE, it will look like we haven't changed at all.

And I don't think he can win.

nobody unites republicans better than the clintons. they have that super hate lust for them. theyd do anything to crush her.

14. It is suprising to see you shift to the middle ground
If you think that there are more voters that would be scared off by Wright or Ayers, than there are pissed off repubs/indy's who would vote for Obama in the GE then, ok.. cast your vote for your conscience..if however you are just projecting, I would assure you that there are many more angry indies/repubs that will vote for Obama in the GE.. many more would vote for him, than those who would vote for HC because of Wright/ayrs.. people just don't like HRC.. and whether it is in the nomination process, or the GE, they will never like her, she can't win any national election because of this.. believe me.. in the GE it would only be more pronounced.
