In a few hours, Hillary will fire and denounce Kantor and say she didn't know about it, wasn't there
and that'll be the end of it. That's my cynical perspective on the MSM's bias towards her.

sorry. In her heart. That this wasn't just a political decision. :puke:

5. Both candidates have those who have betrayed them.
People want to get close to power that's why it happens.

15. This Isn't A Recent Development.
The M$M has really been about helping the candidate that's behind. It's a ratings game.

I'll say still again: it's all about the horse race, kids!

Giddyup. :eyes:

Oh, and welcome to DU! ;)

8. With Carville and Stephanopoulos standing right there and not saying
anything it is very damning of the people she surrounds herself with.

17. Curious about that, too
We don't get much more than Kantor's words, but I would like to see how both men reacted to this statement. It would say much about the mentality of the Clinton machine.

13. I think the big difference is:
There's video. Video has a strange way of sticking around the newscycle for days and weeks.

But, yeah, it'll be a non-story soon enough. But this will contradict any type of 'judgement' arguments she's been making about Reverend Wright so maybe they'll both cancel each other out.

I don't know. A comment that slaps blacks and whites all at once might lurk around longer than one might imagine. We'll see.

14. I wonder...
Right now this story is at the viral level. If she makes a public statement the story goes big media national news and the talking heads will have to bring the viewers up to speed with details. This will add to the negative perception of HRC. So the question is - do they let a smoldering story lie or do they try to kill it.

Its a lose lose for HRC and on the eve of the next two primaries.

Bummer.

20. That is what is being
Discussed by her campaign right now...and what do they say Kantor says its a fake and a conspiracy. Do they risk defending him and than being proven wrong or do they summarily throw him from the bus.

16. FOR MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS
She has been associated with this scum. How could she listen to him for all those years? Why did it take her so long to denounce him?

18. Outrage and Tears.
"That was my husband's campaign."

I don't think this will disappear all that quickly -- more because it shows such rank hypocrisy on the part of Bill and Hill.

It is hard to keep spewing the "elitist" line towards Barack with this kind of 'sound' being pushed all over the internet and on the cable talk programs.

Oh, she'll fire him, denounce him, plunge a knife in his chest on television if that will make this go away ... then she'll cry about it and remind us how tough her life has been.

All this proving once again that she/he will do anything, say anything to get back in the White House.
