2. Magic number will be challenged..count on it.. |
|
FL & MI being added somehow, will change the "magic number"..2025 to win is without them..
and by not knowing what number of delegates will/may be added later, has to be agony for the campaigns..
that's why the republicans were smart.. they just gave them half..and at least everyone competed, and knew what they had available..
we should have done the same and REMOVED all the super delegates as punishment..

4. You DO realize that the DNC rules call for HALF as well, don't you? |
|
The total nullification was beyond the rules ... as was the "Pledge" (coerced by the privileged four states) that prohibited "participation" in the MI or FL Primaries. It was that pledge that was interpreted by *some* as an advisory they remove their names from the MI ballot (where it was possible under state regulations). Hillary, of course, as the "presumptive leader," didn't feel obliged to be concerned.

5. yes, but they "could" apply more restrictions, which they did |
|
They never thought it would be an "issue", since MOST candidates drop out early, due to financing problems..
It did do one thing though.. It focused like a lase beam ...on the process..
and after this fiasco, I'm pretty sure the process will change :)

because Obama will win by a large enough margin that there won't be any possibility of it being overturned by FL and MI.
He probably needs about 2,100 to ensure that. So, maybe 367 out of 691, or 53% of the remaining delegates and supers. I think he can do it.
