there is a song in there someplace...
If only I knew someone with a guitar... Or even a mandolin....?????
The lyrics:
Oh, I sold six guitars today And I sold them all on ebay And if that wasn't enough of a sin I threw in my best mandolin all because I want the the best one to win
dooo-dee-doooo.....
good for you and thanks for being so selfless :toast:

21. If I had anything to sell on ebay, |
|
(do I? I'll have to look)
I'd be spending the money on new tires, on fuel for next winter, on fixing the wiring problems in this old place.
I scraped together a whopping $100, $25 each quarter, for a worthy candidate in '07.
If I had anything left to send in '08, it would go to whoever ends up challenging my R senator in November. There are no worthy recipients at the presidential level to fund.

ends up either buying food for my kids and grandkids or help with their bills. It's a lot harder for them than it was for us 20 years ago down here
PS; I was joking I didn't really sell my instruments

33. My son sold some of his instruments last year |
|
when things got tight for him. :(
He's pared his collection down to 3 guitars, 2 trumpets, and some recording equipment.
My other son is currently selling some of his hobby collections on ebay, for the same reasons.
The only extras I've got to offer are some clothes that don't fit and books.
Lots of books.
