McCain in his diatribe against universal health care lies about what it entails. |
|
He keeps saying the government "runs" it and says the patient has no say in anything. I heard him once say that you should just look up north to Canada to see what a failure it is. Firstly....the government DOES NOT RUN OUR HEALTH CARE! THEY PAY THE BILLS, PERIOD!>. We choose our own doctors and the doctors, patients and hospitals make the decisions. NOT THE GOVERNMENT. 93% of Canadians in a recent poll said they want to keep our system. Are we all idiots, or could we just possibly be onto something. McCain is such a fraud! Don't let them persuade you that universal health care is wrong, America!

2. And he claims that the Canadian and European systems are worse than America's. |

Anyone with a brain and access to information knows that for a lie.

"devil they know" for the "devil they don't know." In other words, they fear getting worse than they've got now. And some of these people have no health insurance!
The reality is that McCain says these things because people believe them. there are just a lot of people who won't or don't research and learn about other countries' health care systems. They fear the unknown. They've had it so bad all these years they are beat down and only expect worse.
Terrible, but true...

McCain was commenting on the "government controlled" health care system. They all parrot whatever he says as if it is gospel.

7. Wait until they finally learn what McCain's "plan" really is. |
|
End employer-based health insurance benefits, give you a $5,000 credit, send you on your way and wish you all the best. Average cost of insurance for a small family is $12,000. People with pre-existing conditions are up a creek. McCain couldn't get insurance under his own scheme.

9. He must be very unhappy with his own healthcare. |
|
I expect he'll be dropping it and purchasing private health insurance on the open market. Just to set an example.
