Just because Obama does poorly compared to Clinton with regards to whites, it may be that they prefer a white Dem over black, but that doesn't mean they won't vote for a black candidate against a republican.

our state has some counties that are Dixie Crats, and some big counties that are

Our more educated areas (Research Triangle) are Obama.

This little fact is KEY to interpreting the exit polls. I saw on the Huffington Post that an NC exit poll had Obama ahead by 12 points. Right now it's looking like it will be MORE than 12 points. If that is the case, then you can EASILY say that he got much more than 40% of the white vote, since the black vote is already about maxed out for Obama.

I wonder if we'll see the pundits talking about Hillary's black voter problem now. Looks like they were paying attention to Bill's comments when he was in South Carolina. :rofl:
