Hillary's speech was absolutely okay with me. |
|
I thought it was quite nice. No problem.
From an ardent Obama supporter.

4. Let her be positive. It's better than being negative. It does us no harm. |

10. That's expected. She hit the right concilatory tones |
|
And again, I am an ardent Obama supporter. I would rather it was a concession speech, but obviously barring that she did the right thing.

5. My expectations for her are zero, so a 1 out of 100 is pretty fine with me. |

9. She did. She just did not call for unity behind Obama yet. |
|
"We are all on the same team". "I will work for the nominee of the Democratic Party because we must win in November, and I know Senator Obama feels the same way". "We know how much the American people want change and there will be no change if Republicans retake the White House."

3. Me too. It was fine. She can't very well stand there and |
|
say "oh thanks for your votes, I'm out!" I swear people have never seen what a defeated candidate looks like when he or she addresses supporters.

6. I thought it was a nice speech. |
|
I didn't hear her congratulate Obama, which would be very nice and classy. But it was a positive speech.

11. After watching the whole thing, I feel the same way |
|
At first I was like, :wtf:, but as she went on, I was ok with it.
Russert was saying that she could win one or two more states on a high note, and end with her head high and some leverage (I'm paraphrasing loosely, here). And bring in some more money. As long as she could do that without banging up Obama any more than she already has, that's actually fine with me.
Her speech tonight was truly the beginning of the end.
Finally.
