Poll question: Poll: Clinton as veep?
I am personally outraged by the way Clinton has been running her campaign... but I am starting to see that it could be beneficial to have her on the ticket. The way I see it... they are both on there own able to beat McCain, but for different reasons. I think Hillary can beat McCain because she would pull in the security moms and she would hold a sizable chunk of Reagan dems. Obama on the other hand pulls in many young voters and Obama is better able to pull in independent voters and even the "new evangelicals" (evangelicals who are more concerned with climate change and poverty instead of being single-abortion-issue voters.) Obama's coalition more than makes up for any missing Reagan Dems.

Each of them on their own pulls off a victory... but together they might pull record numbers. And while I do NOT like Hillary any more as a Democrat... I can't help but wonder what a record GE turnout would do for our congressional races. (besides Hillary as VP would be to Repubs. as Cheney is to us.... a nightmare) lol paybacks a bi... uh never mind.

I am honestly up in the air about it... what do you think?

8. How can we offer the slogan of change if we...
Bring in a Veep with some of the strongest lobbyist and special interest ties in the Democratic Party? I and many Obama supporters believe, these groups represent the core problem that has taken or country into the disaster it is today...we want them out of our government and policies because they are not good for main street...they are greedy and elite oriented...Clinton has defended them as being a valid and legitimate voice at the beginning of her campaign and all through their public life they have demonstrated their loyalty to these groups...I know she has changed her position now, while still maintaining a campaign staff full of these lobbyist such as Penn. I just can't trust someone who acts one position, defends that position then changes stride when they find out it is not a popular position to get votes. There is no reason to believe as Veep she would end her affiliations.

No Obama needs a clean veep that shares his values of giving the voice, power and policies back to main street.

18. Cue in McCain Political Ad:
Hillary Clinton is the same person who claimed, as a candidate, Barack Obama had no experience to be President, how can she now run on the same ticket with him running for that office?

Hillary Clinton claimed, McCain had more experience as President, Barack Obama only had a speech.

Who will you vote for in November?

I am John McCain and I approved this message.
