We are no longer "Obamatrons" or "Hillbots". We are DEMOCRATS!
The race is coming to an end, folks. Many of us are happy with the way it turned out and some of us are sad. We will need some time to heal, like after any great fight between two fierce contenders, but heal we will and we will move forward.

But the greatest thing we can do from this point forward is to understand that "Obamatrons" are a thing of the past as are "Hillbots". We are all Democrats again and it's time to remind ourselves that we haven't been fighting with an enemy, we've been engaged in a long discussion as to who is best prepared to lead our forces. That discussion is effectively over so let's rally around the flag.

Are there still a few holdouts, bitter and resentful, who will try to sow dissension in the ranks? Of course there are, just as there are a few troublemakers who need to rub salt in the wounds of those who have been hurt. They will be weeded out and removed in time but for now we must take a united stand against them just as we do the enemy.

So let's take our time to heal and to reassess, but then let's get together under the banner of Democrats and charge into the REAL battle.

TOGETHER!

1. I wish I could agree with you that its nearly over, but the way that Hillary is going...
this thing is far from over. She just will not accept defeat!

2. She doesn't need to concede for us to come together.
Whether you support Hillary or not, her chances of winning are effectively gone. If people want to continue to support her that's fine, but everyone needs to begin the process of unifying under the banner.

4. I agree, and I wish the SD's would get on with this... They are the ones that...
ultimately will be the ones to blame for any destruction that this party comes to (if it does). They need to come out and end this thing!

3. Absolutely agree with you!
I just wish Senator Clinton would follow suite and be a uniter...I can't believe she believes continuing on further and attacking the nominee is honorable or is good for the party.

11. First of all it is not over until one concedes or until the convention
Secondly- It is not up to you to decide who has to leave and when.

Your post seems to imply all the assholes that attack others are on one side, which is incorrect.

12. No, it's not correct. There are attack dogs on both sides.

But it is over and people need to get the hell over it. The math isn't lying and the kitchen sink failed. Unless Obama eats a baby he is the nominee.

6. I agree, but I could never see why people took offense to those names.....
To me they just meant you were a fervent supporter of your candidate and people were unwittingly complimenting each other!

10. I'm having a hard time hearing you over all the "Hillary is a Racist" screams
But regardless, I agree. We are all Democrats, supporting Democrats in a Democratic Primary. That primary is almost over and soon we will be Democrats, working to elect a Democrat in the GE.

The healing cannot begin until the cutting stops.
