1. Those numbers are a bit behind, the spread is currently about 11,000 ish
Which is about .06 percent.

There are still about 18 000 provisional ballots to be counted which usually takes 10 days, because of BMV verifications

3. why do they still have 2 points on CNN and mSNBC websites then?
Hillary Clinton 644,594
Barack Obama 630,399

the have these numbers- but I still don't even come close to 2 points.

4. Rounding, its actually 50.89 and 49.11 by their numbers but they list whole numbers rounded

So 49.11 becomes 49 and 0.89 become 51-49=2 Some funny math there on her behalf isn't it. More than a point made up out of thin air by rounding.

But again those number are behind, the spread has closed to 11 000ish

Obama- 49.43 percent
a difference of 1.13 percent

49.431037611% Obama obviously rounds down to 49.

50.583258123% Clinton would round up to 51.

2 points.


But yes, technically it is 1.2%
