Relax About People Saying They Won't Vote
I don't really believe that Hillary supporters won't vote for Obama, or vice-versa.

I think in the heat of the moment, on election day, it is just what people feel like they need to say to be devoted, or dedicated to their candidate. It is obvious to me that these folks will come home when put to the test.

Of course there are some ditto-heads, probably from 2 to 5 percent who will vote for McCain, and a lot of them said they would vote for McCain if Hillary doesn't get the nod, but what they don't say is they will vote for McSame even if she managed to eek out a sneak.

So, relax, don't worry. There is a lot of time left, even if Hillary does her best to stretch it out, and continues to put her own career ahead of the Democratic Party. Seriously, who else are you going to vote for, the guy who is going to revoke abortion rights, continue giving corporations more power to enslave workers? I don't think so.

1. It's ironic that people who accuse Hillary of using scare tactics
feel perfectly comfortable doing the same thing back.

Now, you yourself may not have accused Hillary of this. But on the flip side, I've seen at least three or four threads in the past couple of days warning women they'd better vote for Obama or say goodbye to Roe v. Wade!

If that's not a scare tactic, what is?

And, if it's legitimate, then I think you must agree that if Hillary thinks the country would be safer under her watch, it's likewise legitimate for her to campaign accordingly.

2. i have always had the same thing in mind
i always think, even all these people who say they won't vote for Obama, or even worse threaten to vote for McLame, once they are in that booth, it would be realllly hard to actually pull that lever for Mccain and most would wind up biting their lip and voting Dem.... Can they really vote for the 3rd term of GWB, i find that really hard to believe.

And even if you disagree with me now, i don't care, now isn't when i am thinking about, that's my (and the OP) point i believe, that NOW you are fired up, and later you will see the danger of the alternative.

3. statistics
It's just statistics; I will vote for Barrack, but many of us Hillary supporters won't. Statistics. Broad coalition vs McGovern '72. The choice is his.

4. One size does not fit all...
You're hung up on ditto-heads and abortion and you forget the calculus.

I live in New York State.
I have never and will never vote for Hillary Clinton.
I don't have to.
She will win my state, even if I vote for Cynthia McKinney or Donald Duck for pres, and Dems down-ballot.

If I lived in Pennsylvania, I might feel differently.
