I'm really surprised that there is so little communication between the Obama & Clinton campaigns.... |

I remember months ago now, when Senator Obama and Senator Clinton sat on a stage in California and kissed each other's asses for over an hour. They were in California, in front of a big donor audience, and John Edwards had just dropped out the day before. It was widely reported that the two candidates campaign staff had agreed ahead of time NOT to go on the offensive against each other. I am pretty sure they even took some time to attack the Republican party.
Fast forward a couple months, Clinton is pretty much defeated. It's the 3rd Overtime period, her team is down by 20 points, and almost all of the fans have left. It has been two very long years for Senator Clinton. She has been on planes, trains and automobiles nonstop for the last 30 years. All over the world and back again five different times. Governor's vocal wife for a decade, the first First Lady to take a REAL active roll in a Presidency since FDR. Historical breakthrough as First Lady United States Senator from New York. Two term. You can say what you want about Hillary Clinton, but you cannot say the woman doesn't have the drive and work ethic.
She has clearly lost. It's over. And watching her now is actually a little sad to me, not because she looks tired. She SOUNDS tired. Her speech patterns are breaking down in many cases, and I cringe when I hear the ummmm, uhhhhhh, well....... stuff she never did before.
So Senator Clinton doesn't have any advisors talking to the Obama people? Or vica versa? None of this makes sense to me anymore.

3. She may've been 20 points down, her fans definitely did not leave her. |

You're right about fatigue taking its toll on her verbal self discipline. The "ummmm, uhhhhhh, well... stuff she never said before" (as you tactfully put it) is a result of the physical exhaustion of the campaign. Probably so is her Ahab-like pursuit of a nomination she'll never reach. But if she wasn't that focused, she'd never have gotten as far as she did.
She should thank Jeremiah Wright for allowing her to get as close as she did. It's been a hell of a ride.

4. I have NO doubt negotiations are ongoing from multiple parties including |
|
assigned "negotiators" from both campaigns. The terms have not yet been agreed to, as in any negotiations, they are honing in on the fine, yet key, points.
Will the campaigns, themselves, come to a satisfactory conclusion, maybe or maybe not.
Will this be brought to an end WELL BEFORE the convention, absolutely.
