1. She just hit a home run in the bottom of the ninth.
The only problem: she's down by 15 runs with 2 outs.

2. Nope, the superdelegates' duty is to rescue the party if the tide shifts late
Their "endorsements" can change with the wind.

5. Momentum in West Virginia and Kentucky does not equate to a tidal shift.
And endorsements won't be changing at this point, except away from Clinton, as her increasingly untenable position in the race becomes evident. Obama has picked up 20+ superdelegates in the past week; does that not tell you anything?

9. Bill Clinton did not say that. This story was debunked
Edited on Tue May-13-08 09:10 PM by Colin D Cops
Bill Clinton did not predict Hillary would win 80% of the vote in West Virginia. He said that even if Hillary won 80% of the vote, it wouldn't make a difference if only 100,000 people voted:

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/05/12/clinton-supporter-on-wv-vote-just-wait-‘til-we-win-like-80-20/

If you read carefully, you can see that Senate Majority Leader Harry Truman Chafin was the one who made the prediction. the Clinton campaign "quickly tried to downplay Chafin’s remaks".

20. Once again, Bill DID say that ... read it slowly this time
"We gotta have your help and get the largest number of people to show up on election day. See all this stuff you are hearing about is an attempt to discourage you. That's what this is, pure and simple, hoping, well, Hillary can get eighty percent of the vote in West Virginia, and if only 100,000 people show up it is not enough. But if 600,000 people show up, and you say we want a president than you will see the earth move. You can do it."--Bill Clinton
