The Edwards/Obama rally should ire Michigan voters. |

Edited on Wed May-14-08 05:29 PM by jasmine621
First to quit the race so early.
And now, this endorsement.
All in the face of Obama not running obstacles around seating their delegates and at first not wanting to recognize their votes.

1. Edwards wasn't on the ballot, per the rules. |
|
Why would that piss off Michigan voters?

3. By the same logic, they should be pissed at Hillary |
|
for throwing them under the bus until she needed them.

4. I don't think the people of Michigan are that stupid. |
|
1. They probably know that John Edwards was not the first candidate to quit the race.
2. They probably remember that Edwards left his name off the ballot too.

5. Clinton signed the same pledge as Obama, to not recognize the MI votes |
|
The difference is, she lied and Obama kept his word.

6. It was Hillary that turned down the reasonable compromise, get that part straight. |
|
She wants ALL the delegates in a pile delivered to her front door, dammit!

7. Some people seem full of opinions about what other people 'should feel'. |
|
When I want to know what someone thinks my feelings should be, I'll call my local Republican party. Just own your own feelings instead of being so patronizing.

10. We here in Michigan will give your suggestion all the consideration it deserves. None. |

I love it when people from other states tell me what I should think. It makes me so much more willing to listen to the rest of their moronic statements. :eyes:

12. The average voter pays scant attention to the details of the process |
|
It won't matter. Even if this Democrat is sick of the power of Iowa and NH eliminating candidates before Democratic states have a chance to eliminate them . We should all have equal votes in the elimination game. What supposedly got Obama is hot water in Mich is his going against Rep. Dingell in allowing the Auto companies greater leaway in the Auto 'cafe' efficiency standards. And so, Chrysler comes out with another high powered car ( the Challenger.) with gas prices likely to push five bucks within the next couple years.

all due consideration. As in, not much at all.
Fine nerve you have there, telling residents of another state how they should feel. :eyes:

17. Why do you keep ignoring the facts about what happened in MI? |
|
If I had a nickel for how many times it's been explained that MI broke DNC rules, and that ALL the candidates, including HRC, agreed that the primary would not count and that the leading candidates except HRC complied and took their names off the ballot accordingly, then I'd have a nice little sum of money.
You can wish and hope all you want that MI votes were fair, but they were not.
Just because Hillary is flat-out lying and is reversing her position that "the voters must be heard" in a craven attempt to get full credit for those invalid votes doesn't mean that reality has changed. She just wants it to. She's trying to cheat the outcome as truly as the Supreme Court aided and abetted the cheating in Florida 2000.
