Florida: At least 8 of the state's 13 Edwards delegates are switching to Obama, and none to Hillary

Florida delegates

A Florida Democratic Party source says that, by their count, at least 8 of the state's 13 Edwards delegates are switching to Obama, and none to Hillary.

The delegates don't, currently, count, but that could change.

UPDATE: This all-but guarantees that Obama will clinch the pledged delegate majority -- including Michigan and Florida -- on Tuesday.

10. Doubtful them included as is would still give her a ton of benefit.
Problem is they are NOT going to be seated as is.

What will likely happen now is she will support the MI solution and agree for FL to be 50/50 so this fiasco will end.

But she is still getting support talking about those state so she is not likely to stop before Tuesday.

5. The PD magic number is now 17
17 PDs needed for a majority of pledged delegates
120.5 delegates needed for the nomination

At least according to Obama's site.

8. It will be a few more than that once solutions are found for MI and FL
However, Obama is not going to walk away with 17 hes going to walk away with 40-50 which effectively seals the deal regardless.

7. This is good news!
There is a really good chance we will have a presumptive nominee Tuesday night. Clinton can no longer get enough out of FL and MI to turn it around and her win in Kentucky will be about as effective as her West Virginia win.

Of course she is free to take it to the 3rd as long as she just highlights her strengths. Hell Clinton make a deal with Obama to get him to divert attention to you for a few days so you get a better chance at getting majority leader in the senate!
