Poll question: Why is Mario Cuomo pushing an Obama - Clinton ticket? |
|
Democratic politicians in New York State are slavering to begin a game of musical chairs should Hillary's Senate seat open up. These politicans include RFK, jr and Andrew Cuomo.

I voted for the second choice, but the real answer may lie in Mario's desire to remain "relevant."

that there is a contradiction between the two. It is very likely that Mario Cuomo believes that an Obama/Clinton ticket is best for the country, and that he would like to see either his son or RFK, Jr., take the Senate seat. Cuomo is a solid democrat, in my book. I'm not saying that I agree with the idea of the "unity" ticket, but I can respect that he believes it is the thing to do.

11. All you cynics don't know Mario. |
|
He genuinely wants party unity and he thinks that we can only achieve it if the two people who have each won half of the Democratic vote join forces and run on the same ticket.
