Obama On Reports of Unfair Treatment Towards Clinton
Obama had this to say in his ABCNews interview with Jake Tapper today:

No doubt there are certain burdens for Senator Clinton running as formidable but first time frontrunner as a woman, in the same way I’ve got to deal with some issues as an African-American. Ultimately I think the American people are fair minded and for those who would not vote either myself or Senator Clinton because of gender or race. There are those who are excited about the prospects of the first woman or African-American. There is no doubt there have been occasions where Senator Clinton has had to overcome particular hurdles and that is part of the groundbreaking nature of her campaign.

By winning the nomination, many Hillary supporters will blame him and only him.

I concede.

Thankfully that sentence won't be coming out of Obama's mouth.

13. Well, frankly he's said A LOT MORE then Clinton has on race.. well positively anyway.
Point me to where Clinton has said anything about Obama having to overcome hurdles as the first serious black candidate? She hasn't... well unless you want to consider Ferarro's "comments" about the only reason he's even in the race is because he's black. I guess that could count - but again, i prefaced this with "positive".

14. Oh, big freaking WAAH. It was a very classy, gracious statement....
but, of course, Hillary supporters find SOMETHING to bitch about in it.

Here's a clue: I don't think I'm alone when I say this: "I don't want 4 more minutes of Hillary and her climb-up-on-the-cross supporters, let alone 4 YEARS of it.

It's THIS horseshit that will damage for years a woman's choice to run for president.

Edited on Tue May-20-08 03:47 PM by ErinBerin84
is that she completely tries to pretend that she didn't support Bush now. After she equated gay marriage to people marrying toasters, I wouldn't expect anything less from her. She reminds me of that guy from Tweety's show last week, Kevin James. Most of the time, the other women are too lazy to shoot down her Hannity talking points, but Joy actually brought up Cindy McCain's drug use the other day when Elizabeth was spouting her Michelle Obama stuff. And in response to the Edwards endorsement, she said "I don't want a commander in charm...I want a commander in chief!" Lol. And she always talks about Bill Clinton and how a man who "cheats" could NOT be a good president! Yet no one brings up the circumstances of how Cindy and John met to her.

37. They didn't get rid of her dizzy behind yet?
That woman is the worst example an empty-headed, pontificating twit I've ever seen. I keep getting flashbacks of Brittney Spears yammering on idiotically about trusting Bush in Fahrenheit 9/11 when I see Hasselbeck.

She is utterly vomit inducing.
:puke:

I guess that's what happens when you parlay being on a reality tv show into a career.

I marvel at Rosie O'Donnell's restraint. I think I would have smacked her if I were on that show.
