Congrat to Sen. Clinton for her tenacity during this contest! |
|
Wish she would have been as determined to go against George Bush while he was getting his war on.
Anyways, I'm glad she's found "principles" to stand up for. Principles are a good thing to have.

Think of the millions of people who have been and are enjoying having her as a target. It's the stuff of legend. Hell, she may even be missed eventually. :banghead:

13. I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one, Frenchie. Hillary is only tenacious in states |
|
she can win. If a state isn't favorable to her, she surrenders it without a fight. Thus, the bizarro strategery of running up the white flag in states like North Carolina and Oregon, states she desperately needed to win in order to reverse the flow of supers to Obama. She's spent almost all of her time in Kentucky, a state she could win by 25+ points without showing up, instead of trying to take Oregon from Obama.
What she is tenacious about is in insisting that two plus two does not equal four.
She also has been tenaciously fighting for the voices of the voters to be heard--this, of course, from the candidate who piled up supers before the first vote was cast in Iowa, trying to win the race before it even started, and who was ready to declare victory no later than February 5. And, of course, the ultimate irony--once the voices of the voters are heard, she will then insist that the supers ignore those voices and give her the nomination instead. Pathetic elitist newly disguised as a working class hero.
Sorry for my little rant on your magnanimous thread.

17. I admire the tenacity. But that still doesn't mean I like her. |
|
People elect people they like. Although they admire someone else. They marry ... er, I mean elect....the one they like.
