Hillary is like the date from hell |
|
She has been nasty for the whole time .... not pleasant to be around .... a bald faced liar .... ran up a hell of bill ... you can tell that there is no way that the relationship will ever work .... and still she will not go away.
The numbers do not lie Obama has it locked up.
Come on Super Delegates put an end to this never ending date from hell.

30. This is uncalled for - from an Obama supporter |
|
First of all, take a deep breath .....
What sort of fear do you have of Hillary that makes you lash out at her so? In her tenaciousness, we still have won the nomination. Don't be a spiteful winner. Don't stoop to her level. One of the very reason's we love Obama is because he would rebuke you for what you have just said.
I know you are anxious for this to be over but be patient, and start working toward an Obama victory in November. Get on BarackObama.com and find out how you can help. Get on McCainPedia.com and start focusing you animousity on the republican nominee.
Don't waste your anger on someone who is no longer in the race. We have work to do.
She ran a good race but she has lost now. Be gracious in victory.

Like I already said: She ran a good race. I'm not bitter at Hillary for the many, many, many low blows she swung at Obama. I'm sure that there were voters out there stupid enough to let things like what you listed above influence them, but as the results have shown, these voters were ultimately in the minority. This is the second time I have watched democratic voters reject negative campaigning, and I am proud of us. Back in 2004 voters in Iowa rejected Dick Gerphardt and Howard Dean's negative campaigning, and in 2008 voters have rejected Hillary's negative campaigning. In that sense, Obama has already accomplished one of the things he promised: Bringing a different kind of politics to washington, before he has even taken office. If Hillary had to go down to show future democratic politicians that you can win an election by staying positive, then she has done the party a service.
I want Hillary to stay in the race. I want her to stay in the race because once she is soundly and completely defeated she cannot make any complaints or question Obama's legitimacy as a candidate. I want her to stay in the race until it becomes mathematically impossible for her to win even with her Florida and Michigan delegates. I want her to keep making the false claim that she has won the popular vote. I want her to keep doing this so that it stays in the news so that analysts continue to analyse her claims and reveal them to be the fraud that they are. I want everyone to know that the only reason she was able to lay claim to the popular vote was by eliminating caucus states from the total. I want her to keep on fighting this so that when Obama wins, we know that Hillary is soundly and completely defeated. I wasn't her to keep talking about how she is the one who can win in the states that matter. I want her to keep talking about that so that she forces analysts to analyze what is yet another misleading claim. And then superdelegates will get to see how an Obama candidacy put states like Iowa, Idaho, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Colorado into play while holding on to Ohio and Pennsylvania.
And I think the attacks have actually helped Obama. This primary has been training for Obama for what he will face in the general election. Just like Karl Rove's attacks of 2000 helped prepare McCain's volunteers to deal with possible attacks in the 2008 primaries, these attacks have helped us. Obama has learned to respond to attacks, and use attacks to highlight the differences between him and his opponents. He has learned something John Kerry didn't, to define your opponent before they define you. We saw how Obama has learned to deal with attacks when he immediately responded to Bush's appeasment charge by accusing McCain of flip-flopping.
Yes, Hillary ran a good race. But Obama ran an even better one.

39. The problem is that if you repeat something enough .... |
|
.... the lie becomes accepted as fact by many people.
Al Gore, "I invented the internet."
John Kerry was a coward in Vietnam, hurt himself to get out of the service, and shot a boy in the back to get his award.
George Bush didn't go AWOL the whole story was made up by Dan Rather.
George Bush won Ohio beacuse "value voters" turned out in record #s to support him.
And now Hillary and certian factions of the media are selling the lie that Hillary got the majority of the vote and "it" is being taken from her. Which in turn very well might cause some of her supporters not to vote for Obama in the fall because he helped rob Hillary of what she won fair and square.
Also History has shown us that after a point when the primary goes on too long it weakens the party's pick in the general election.

46. The voters say different ... |
|
Hillary repeated many lies in a bid to win this election and they haven't helped her she's still losing.
And I don't care about what history has shown us. History used to show us that a candidate couldn't raise $65 million in a month without relying on big money donors and lobbyists. The Obama campaign is making history by destroying conventional wisdom that's based on history. We are going to destroy a lot of political conventional wisdom between now and November.
We are changing history. And it starts but letting go of 2000, and 2004 and moving forward. People who worry about Karl Rovian tactics are people who are still smarting from our defeats in those years. Hillary tried Karl Rovian tactics. She failed. She would like us to believe she didn't fail but the numbers don't lie.

Who cares if she's not getting out.
That is my point. You should read what I said again. It is better for us if she stays in. Let's beat her completely and utterly so that after all this is over she can't question Obama's legitimacy as a candidate. What's going on right now actually works to our advantage. In the meantime Camp Obama is ignoring her rants and concentrating on McCain.
