Is The Primary Over? Can I Start Giving Now? |
|
I have mentioned this before, I am kind of a fence sitter with respect to the primary fight. I gave until it hurts in the last election to no avail to Kerry/Edwards, but at least got to attend a nice dinner. This time around, I admit I have a preference for Obama at this point, but not enough that I was going to contribute to his primary fight against Hillary. I'm not rich, so I want my campaign dollar to go where it counts, to preventing a third term of more of the same with McSame.
I admit, by holding out, I am getting less campaign literature, but I'd like to do my part to support the general election bid. Has the dust settled? Or, do I have to hold out until August to make sure that my money is not going toward beating up on fellow Democrats.
