4. Since 2/19 HRC has beaten bho in total votes and delegates and
that should tell folks something. bho cannot win in november. If the man is the nominee and he cannot get 35 to 40% of the blue collar voters then bho will have to get at leasst 40 million AA to vote in November and that is an impossibility....

9. So? There were 38 contest before that, why are you starting from 2/19?
and she's beat him by what since then...a total of 50 some delegates? And who's to say he won't get 35 - 40% of the blue collar vote in Novermber? I think he will.

21. are the primaries since 2/19 more important than the other ones?
And how many times does it have to be mentioned that popular vote is not relevant unless you have either all primaries or all caucuses?

15. Well, 90+% will vote Dem this year. And the GOP Congressman just got his ass kicked in LA ...
cause his anti-Obama, anti-Wright ads motivated the AA vote in his district.

18. Since the 1970's no Dem running for Pres has received under 80% of the black vote in the GE
but how any of this relates to the primary I'm not sure.

22. You aren't sure? It's obvious. let me splain it to you then.
The african american community wields a disproportionate amount of power within the Democratic party, disproportionate because their strength is overstated in the party relative to the overall community of registered American voters. That's good and bad for the Democratic party and it means that any candidate that can pull 90% of their support in the primry is basically guaranteed the nomination. The drawback is this, that disproportionate strength and influence disapears in the general election because black folks are concentrated in states where their impact on the general election outcome is underrepresented, states that are basically guaranteed red or blue. General elections are won by appealling to the middle in battleground states. Look at the primary elections thus far in the battleground states and you'll see that Barack Obama does poorly. I will bet money that that trend continues in the general election. Obama supporters seem to do very well at math but I think they should have worked a little harder in poli-sci. I firmly believe that all battles are won and lost before they're ever fought and I see the battle for the general election as lost to us at this point for the reasons outlined above. I have accepted that BO will win the nomination and, as such, I can only believe that we are doomed to 4 more years of Republican President.
