I found the following interesting. |

In the Following states, McCain has gotten more primary votes than either Obama or Clinton Arizona(his home state) Nebraska (a nonbinding primary) Washington (a nonbinding primary)
In the following states, McCain has gotten more primary votes than Obama Florida Michigan(with his name not on the ballot, it would be hard not to)
In the following states, McCain has gotten more primary votes than Clinton South Carolina Oregon (Not fully reported, but So far true)

When did McCain clench the nomination? Because I'm sure that Republican primaries that took place after that fact had lower voter turnout than if he were still running a competitive race.

If you count close calls, then you can add the following:
He came close to Hillary in Alabama Georgia And counted more in the Kansas Caucus
And close to Obama in New Hampshire Oklahoma West Virginia
