does anyone think it's possible that Hillary.... |
|
Edited on Wed May-21-08 10:40 AM by BklynChick
.. will be announcing today that she is suspending her campaign and then later she will appear with Obama IN FL as a unifying force. I know this is wishful thinking on my part, so tell me I'm not crazy and this is possible.

ever quits. You are right that it's a vanity thing but I don't think she's the one with the vanity problem.

14. Don't kid yourself. HRC is one of the most "Self-righteous" people you'll ever encounter. |
|
She's nothing short of a megalomaniac just like her deluded husband. They both are pathetic and creepy at this point. But hell, let them continue so that the whole damn Country and World sees these disgusting "excuses for humanity" for what they really are, i.e., selfish and cut-throat grifters.

she will hang in there until the Rules Committee meeting at the end of the month, and the last primary in Puerto Rico.
If she doesn't hang it up at that point, I'd expect it to go to the Convention.

8. Nope. But she may declare that she is the goddamned Batman. |
|
Being disingenuous has taken a back seat to pure cut lunacy.
She'll probably use the sexist meme over 9000 times before this is over.

15. lol! But since she's not a lunatic, what is her endgame? Staying in is not |
|
raising money, it's getting her deeper in debt apparently. Staying in is not a ploy to wrangle a VP slot...I bet she's already asked about it (much simpler and cheaper just to ask).
The only thing left is she really thinks something will happen to catapult her to nominee. This worries me because there's no way this can be done without huge collateral damage. Examples: becoming McCains' VP; pulling out a real or fabricated Obama scandal; forcing an ugly and embarrassing convention fight. She must have some strategy....doubt she's just pure stubborness.

"The only thing left is she really thinks something will happen to catapult her to nominee. This worries me because there's no way this can be done without huge collateral damage."
And let me add this. The fantasy (or prophecy, as some on the other site call it, no I'm not kidding) apparently includes ALL of the Obama supporters happily supporting Hillary after she successfully PERMANENTLY destroys Obama (which is the only we she becomes the nominee). Those two things do not logically follow each other.
The only path that ensures a Clinton nomination includes extreme party problems, and will shut off the money spicket that Obama opened.

12. And with all that fightin' from HRC, Obama is still whipping her ass! |
|
More states. More votes. More pledged delegates. $50 million more in the bank (and not in debt!)
Face it. Hillary ran a piss-poor campaign and got her ass handed to her.

17. Hillary didn't fight until she realized she could lose. |
|
And as president, wouldn't fight unless her own personal will was challenged.
Period.

19. Fighting would have produced the same results. |
|
Ohio would not permit a recount, period, and after Bush v Gore, the state rules.
Now we have Dem administration, but still bad habits, and much of the process is still secret, without adequate auditing by law.

heck, her supporters live in a dream state all the time... we can atleast have our day of dreaming.
but 'suspending' is the best thing to do...that way people can go on and vote for her if they want but there will be no more attacks on Obama from her camp.
