I withdraw my previous statements supporting Hillary as VP
Her determination to win by attempting to de-legitimize party processes and caucuses forces me to take a step back.

I didn't like her willingness to attack Obama in Iowa and New Hampshire by questioning his pro-choice credentials.
I didn't like her willingness to pander with Gas Tax Holidays along with John McCain.

But this takes the cake.

If the superdelegates don't move to Obama after this, I will have lost all respect for them.

3. It is getting hard to be kind and gracious--I'm getting pissed off too...
Barack is doing his best to be kind, gracious, and welcoming for the Clinton supporters--but damn, the stuff she is saying and doing is really annoying. I know the SD's are probably waiting for June 3rd now---but I wish a bunch would step forward sooner. It is painful to watch the Clinton death throes...

11. let the voters of Florida and Michigan punish them
when voters went to the polls in both states, they were told that the outcome would not count.

Therefore it was not a valid election.

14. Nope the national leadership allowed it by picking Iowa,
New Hamphire, and South Carolina the first...and only shot at picking the candidates and the issues. Liberal large states left hanging in the wind after the whole thing was decided.

7. Personally, I think she's getting way more of the benefit of the doubt than she deserves
Some really want not to dislike her, so she gets chance after chance to prove herself.

And nothing has changed. She's still scorching earth.

Even some of the MSM caught the schizophrenia in her speech last night in KY. She can't have it both ways. The tone she's taken in FL today tells you where her mind is really at. Any b.s. she spouts about the party being together is just politically expedient to sound like she's going to be a team player. She's more than happy to have divide and conquer occurring in her name as the nomination moves further out of reach.

26. No, a long-time lurker who supports Obama. It can happen.
Not everyone's a troll that doesn't support your candidate. I'm adding my $.02 like every other paying contributor to this board because I'm disgusted with her campaign and I have the right to express it.

21. If I was worried about myself then yes, but I think the SMARTER thing to do is ingraciate yourself &
...vie for another ground breaking position and run for VP or a future position.

There's no reason why she isn't doing this other than thinking about herself.

I understand it's disappointing but she can handle the situation in a myriad of smarter ways than she is doing now.

22. Pandering about Gas Tax Holidays?
Edited on Wed May-21-08 03:19 PM by mac2
They are thinking of doing it in Illinois because our gas prices are the highest in the country. Could it be because we are a Democratic state? Oh...no!

We use corn alcohol to in our gas yet it is sky high.
