6. Me too.
They all have advantages. Clark is my first choice, I know and trust him. Richardson brings a lot to the table. Webb is great, but I'm not sure a ticket with two first term Senators is wise, and I hope we could hold his Senate seat Democratic in Virginia if Webb became VP.

I really hope we don't end up with someone relatively conservative like Nunn or Bayh out of electoral considerations.

5. Ditto!
We have a good chance of gaining another democrat Senator in VA next time.

I don't think two first-term Senators will run together, either.

4. I'd like to see Clark independent from the Clinton's first.
He's always been in their pocket.

7. Out of the 3 of them Richardson is the obvious choice.
I don't know what it is about Clark but there's clearly something missing there.

And Webb has repeatedly and vigorously denied any interest at all in the job. At this point I'd have to take him at his word.

Richardson would have to be my choice although he might really fit better as Secretary o' state.

9. Two senators on a ticket is suicide.
And that's the only real objection I have to Webb.

Clark and Richardson are both on my short list, and I can easily see both of them in the Obamadministration. The one who is not VP will probably be Secretary of State.

11. If Clark wants to be considered, he needs to quietly break with the Clintons.
Maybe he's holding fire in order to make it a unifying move at the
convention, while privately in talks with Obama about being Obama's
liason inside the Clinton war room. If I were Clark that is what
I would be doing.

15. That would certainly solidify the message of CHANGE
And we would get a better health care plan. But I'm not sure a congressman on the ticket would be any better than two senators.

19. DK head of the newly created Dept. of Peace!
There was talk at some point of creating a new cabinet position and a Department of Peace. Dennis should be a shoo in for that! :applause:

Ever since I saw him take on Carville on LKL recently, he's been on my short list! :)
